A swivel joint (20,100,110,120,130) is provided comprising a first base member (30), a second base member (32), and a spider (33) positioned between the first and second base members (30,32). The spider (33) includes a center support (34) and first and second bearing support elements (36,38). Each bearing support element (36,38) has an arcuate surfaces (37,39) adapted to form joints with the first and second base members (30,32). In one embodiment, at least one shim element (46) is disposed between at least one of the first and second bearing support elements (36,38) and the center support (34). |
