The device has a fixation base (2) made of conducting material and constituted of two mobile semi-cylindrical parts articulated laterally with each other. The parts adapt the shape of a terminal (1) of a power supply storage battery such that the base is directly installed on the terminal to permit an electrical contact between the terminal and an interrupting mechanism (6) contained in a case. The mechanism and the case are introduced on the base via a hole. O-rings (8) assure sealing of the mechanism when a screw (11) is screwed.
