<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electronic device having a layered structure, and to provide a coating solution suitable for the method. <P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an electronic device including at least two layers containing organic compounds includes: a first step of forming a film of mixed layer by applying a coating solution containing organic compounds and metals and/or metal oxide on a substrate directly or over another layer; and a second step of forming a film of an organic layer by applying a solution containing organic compounds directly on the mixed layer formed in the first step.
