INTEGRATED PROCEDURE OF DRYING AND PROCESSING OF HOP CONES INTO HOP PELLETS

Integrated procedure of drying and processing hop cones into hop pellets is a technological procedure in which unite operations of hop cones harvesting and drying are linked with the unite operations of dry hop cones processing into hop pellets. Application of this procedure means omission of dry hop cones pressing into hop bales and their temporary storage in hop storage, which usually causes losses of bitter and aromatic substances from hop cones. This process is particularly applicable for small and middle hop producers which process natural hop cones into pellets and directly supply their customers.
