PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust cover for a ball joint for effectively preventing leakage of grease sealed in the dust cover to an external part. SOLUTION: In this rubber-like elastic material dust cover for the ball joint, a spherical head part formed on one end of a ball stud is held in a socket, and a handle on the other end of the ball stud is fastened and fixed to a knuckle, and one end large diameter opening part is fixed to and held by an outer peripheral surface of the socket, and the other end small diameter opening part is held by the handle. In the dust cover for the ball joint, the small diameter opening part of the dust cover is composed of an inner peripheral lip part sealed and contacted with a handle outer peripheral surface and a dust seal sealed and contacted with the knuckle, and is constituted by having a grease lip extending toward the inside of the dust cover in the small diameter opening part.
