The aim of the invention is ensure an improved transfer of heat with a more acceptable drop of pressure and a reduced risk of blocking. As a result, a hydraulic diameter in the region of between 1,5 mm and 6 mm, defined as the quadruple of the ratio between the surface of the cross-section that is traversed and the perimeter that can be moistened by the fluid. The invention also relates to a heat exchanger (30, 40), comprising a block having a plurality of flow channels (41, 41 ', 61, 61 ', 71, 71 ', 81, 81 ', 91, 91 ') of said type, through which the first fluid (31) flows and fluidically connected by a fluid connection. The invention further relates to a charge-air system, an exhaust gas recycling system and to the use of the heat exchanger.
