<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a photographing condition optimal for the purpose of generating a plurality of images suitable for combination for achieving dynamic range expansion and preferable gradation presentation. <P>SOLUTION: An exposure amount calculation device comprises a photometry section for performing photometry on a field and a determination section for determining a photographing condition covering a width from a minimum value to a maximum value of a photometric value by the photometry section by a plurality of times of photographing. In such a case, the determination section may also determine the photographing condition while fixing a stop. Furthermore, an imaging apparatus comprises the exposure amount calculation device, an imaging section which comprises an imaging element and photographs a subject image multiple times according to the photographing condition to generate a plurality of images, and a recording section which records the plurality of images. In such a case, the determination section may also determine the number of times of photographing on the basis of the width from the minimum value to the maximum value of the photometric value and the dynamic range of the imaging element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
