An air conditioner where whether the amount of refrigerant in a refrigerant circuit is adequate is highly accurately determined with a calculation load suppressed. The air conditioner (1) has the refrigerant circuit (10) formed by interconnecting a compressor (21), an outdoor heat exchanger (23), indoor expansion valves (41, 51), and indoor heat exchangers (42, 52); operation control means capable of performing refrigerant amount determination operation for controlling constituting devices so that a refrigerant circulation amount (Wc), which is the amount of refrigerant circulating in the refrigerant circuit (10), is constant; and refrigerant amount determination means for determining whether the amount of the refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit (10) is adequate by using operation condition quantities of the refrigerant flowing in the refrigerant circuit (10) in the refrigerant amount determination operation or operation condition quantities of the constituting devices.
