<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress accumulation of deposit near a nozzle hole of a injection nozzle, in a reducing agent supplying device equipped with the injection nozzle jetting and supplying a reducing agent to an NOx catalyst device. <P>SOLUTION: The injection nozzle 16 is attached to a cylinder head 2 of an engine so as to expose the nozzle hole 17 into an exhaust port 8 connected to a fourth air cylinder #4. A cover 30 covering a periphery of a tip end portion of the injection nozzle 16 is attached to the tip end portion of the injection nozzle 16. An opening 33 is formed at a part corresponding to the nozzle hole 17 of the injection nozzle 16. A flowing direction of a deflecting piece 43 extending to the outside of the opening 33 is formed on a peripheral portion of the opening 33. Exhaust flowing in the exhaust port 8 is deflected in a direction separating from the nozzle hole 17 of the injection nozzle 16 by an upstream side part of the cover 30 and the deflecting piece 43. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
