<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optically measure an oil circulation rate in a CO<SB>2</SB>heat pump system. <P>SOLUTION: This oil circulation rate measuring device 1 comprises an optical measuring means 5, a block main body 6 is connected by pipes between a gas cooler 12 and an expansion valve 13 of the CO<SB>2</SB>heat pump system, and a static mixer 4 is connected between an upstream-side flow channel 2a of a flow channel 2 formed in the block main body 6, and the gas cooler 12. In the static mixer 4, an element 4a formed by connecting rectangular plates in a twisted state while changing the twisting direction in a case-by-case basis, is disposed in the pipe to uniformly mix the refrigerant (CO<SB>2</SB>) in which the oil flowing in to the flow channel 2 is mixed. The optical measuring means 5 applies the light of a wavelength absorbed by the oil mixed in the mixed fluid, and operates a circulation rate of the oil on the basis of a calibration curve created from the transmittance of the light of the wavelength passing through the mixed fluid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
