The line has a collecting housing (1) with a connection to an exhaust gas recirculation guide (2). The housing is formed as a part of the line. An exhaust gas inlet of the housing is formed as a flange (4) to an exhaust gas outlet of an internal combustion engine. The recirculation takes place from the housing to the heat exchangers (5,6) arranged in parallel, a deflection housing (7) and a heat exchanger (8) arranged in series for cooling exhaust gas. The housing is formed with partially corrugated side surface (3), where width of the housing corresponds to width of cylinders of the engine.
