SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VIDEO COMMUNICATION SERVICE BASED ON SIP USING SMART CARD

An SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) based video call service system using a smart card and a method thereof for providing a video call service are provided to operate the smart card including an SIP call processing function with the mobile terminal through APDU(Application Protocol Data Unit). A calling terminal(100) requests a video call. A first smart card(200) is mounted in the calling terminal. The first smart card controls the session control for the video call and the operation of the calling terminal according to video call request of the first smart card. A CSCF(Call Signal Control Function)(300) routes a session initialization protocol according to the session formation request of the first smart card.
