PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer instrument capable of rotating an auxiliary index, which is visually observed through the use of the reflection of light, independently of a pointer. SOLUTION: The pointer instrument 1 is provided with the rotatable pointer 6; an index part 31 arranged in a circular or elliptical shape to be pointed by the pointer 6; a light source 83; a rotatable optical-guide pin 62 for emitting light from a tip part 621 emitted from the light source 83; and a reflecting part 41 arranged in parallel with the index part 31 for reflecting emission light from the tip part 621 of the optical-guide pin 62 to the side of visual observation to make the index part 31 visually observed as the auxiliary index 33B which aids the index part 31. The tip part 621 of the optical-guide pin 62 is constituted in such a way as to be rotated inside the reflecting part 41. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
