PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storing method capable of keeping an article for a long time which safely prevent the deterioration and quality change of the article without adversely affecting a human body and an environment, and an article storing device. SOLUTION: This article storing device 1A is equipped with an article packaging means 11 for packaging the article 10A to be stored, a deoxidizer 13 sealed in a storing bag 12 with the means 11 and a storing bag 12 for sealing the means 11 and the deoxidizer 13 almost in a vacuum. The inner face side of the means 11 is coated with a composite body of a photo catalyst and apatite for protecting the article 10A from a harmful substance. Furthermore, the article 10a can be stored for a long period of time by preventing the oxidation of the article by using the deoxidizer 13, and by keeping the article almost in a vacuum by the storing bag 12.
