<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing program and image processing apparatus that can easily draw a solid object such as fallen snow, earth and sand, and bricks disposed in a virtual space, through three-dimensional image processing regardless of their shapes. <P>SOLUTION: Multilayer polygon data for constituting a multilayer polygon model and a height map consisting of height data values in a two-dimensional array indicative of heights of respective positions of the solid object to be drawn are read out of a storage device. For respective layers of a multilayer polygon model, heights of the layers are compared with height data values of the respective positions of the height map to determine visible areas of respective layers of the multilayer polygon model. The visible areas of the respective layers of the multilayer polygon model which are thus determined are drawn in predetermined colors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
