PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric for marking, adhering to frequently stretching clothing such as gym wear, uniform and swimwear, stretched together with the clothing, forming adhesion having good weatherability to the clothing and simply attached, and to provide a method for making the mark using the fabric for marking. SOLUTION: The fabric for marking has a hot melt adhesive layer obtained by laminating an adhesive formed of a polyurethane resin having a melting point of 125-165°C, a melt viscosity at 150°C of 8,000-15,000 Pa s, and 100% a modulus of 2-8 MPa to a stretchable fabric for marking.
