This invention relates to a domestic pressure cooker (1) comprising at least a pan (2) and a lid designed to be added to the pan (2) to form a cooking chamber with the latter, wherein said lid has an inside face designed to be positioned opposite the inside of the chamber and an outside face opposite, characterised in that it comprises a plastic trim which substantially covers all of said outside face.
