PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of wholly magnetizing magnetic bodies without damaging a coil even in case of multiple poles. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method has: a step of holding a plurality of first magnetic bodies 14 with a first spacing 15 between them on one surface of a first holding member 12 and magnetizing the first magnetic bodies 14 in a direction perpendicular to the direction where the first magnetic bodies 14 are circularly arranged, thereby obtaining first permanent magnets 14M; a step of holding a plurality of second magnetic bodies 18 with a second spacing 19 between them on one surface of a second holding member 16 and magnetizing the second magnetic bodies 18 in a direction perpendicular to the direction where the second magnetic bodies 18 are circularly arranged, thereby obtaining second permanent magnets 18M; and a step of arranging the first permanent magnets 14M in the second spacings 19 of the second holding member 16, the second permanent magnets 18M in the first spacings 15 of the first holding member 12 so that the magnetization directions are circularly alternated to assemble the rotor 10.
