PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating machine which can remove dust adhered to or deposited on an iron core and a coil even if an operation is continued, can prevent a rise in temperature in a rotor and a stator, and can maintain the insulating performance of an insulating matter. SOLUTION: In the rotating machine of a type for introducing gas into a frame 1 in order to cool the iron core and the coil at operation, the rotating machine is characterized by including an injection nozzle 2 which is opened at the frame 1, and injects the gas for removing the dust adhered to or deposited on the inside of the frame 1, and gas feeding systems (10, 11 and 12) which feed gases to the injection nozzle 2.
