PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to display a key region and so on clearly without light attenuation or reflection, and to make it possible to indicate the condition of the switch by changing the display color diversely when the switch is pressed. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display panel 11 which holds a liquid crystal between two pieces of substrates having flexibility, a light guide sheet 12 of an illumination device 16 which emits a plurality of colors of light and can illuminate the liquid crystal display panel 11, and a switch sheet 13 which senses the pressing are laminated in this order, and it is constituted in such a way that the switch sheet 13 can be locally pressed from the front surface side of the liquid crystal display panel 11. Then it is provided with a circuit in which an illumination period where only predetermined colors of light from among a plurality of colors of light are used for the illumination device 16 is repeated sequentially for each color, and in which the liquid crystal display panel 11 is FSC driven being synchronized with the illumination period of each color.
