<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of uniforming the pressure of an oxygen concentrator which allows selection of an optimal uniforming position and provides high-concentration oxygen. <P>SOLUTION: Working pressures in adsorption cylinders 4 and 5 are set; an adsorption/desorption switching time is set preliminarily; and the distribution of concentrations of oxygen over the area from the upstream to the downstream in the adsorption cylinders 4 and 5 immediately before the switching in the adsorption operation under these conditions is determined in advance. According to the distribution of concentrations of oxygen, selected is any one of the downstream equalization consisting of equalizing the pressure in the downstream of the adsorption cylinders 4 and 5, the upstream/downstream equalization consisting of equalizing the pressure in the upstream and the downstream of the adsorption cylinders 4 and 5 and the upstream equalization consisting of equalizing the pressure in the upstream of the adsorption cylinders 4 and 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
