PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide short circuit preventing covers which are selectively mounted on an electronic component or a wiring part being the object of short circuit fraudulence, thereby easily blocking the fraudulent action of making a conductive foreign matter enter from the outside and short circuit the terminal of the electronic component or the like. SOLUTION: The short circuit preventing covers 50 and 60 to be mounted on a circuit board 33 disposed in a game machine 1 are provided inside a housing case 30 where the circuit board 33 is housed and an opening 30c communicated with the outside is provided, and are equipped with cover parts 50a and 60a for covering at least the terminal part of a prescribed electronic component mounted on the circuit board 33 and/or a prescribed wiring part from the foreign matter inserted from the opening 30c so as to make it impossible to perform a short circuit operation.
