The method involves determining power consumption of a mobile electronic device in a present operating condition, and determining a process specific power consumption of the device, which is produced by the execution of a process by a processor. A determination is made whether an estimated deviation of a maximum permitted power consumption takes place in a case of performing a new instance of the executing process, which is not implemented at present. Information about the estimated deviation is displayed if it is determined that the estimated deviation has occurred. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a mobile electronic device comprising a device for determining deviation of a maximally permitted power consumption (2) a computer program product for determining deviation of a maximally permitted power consumption of a mobile electronic device. |
