<p>The present invention is a holder for use by a person such as an infant, elderly person or disabled person to hold a food item or eating utensil such as a spoon, fork or knife. The holder has an elongate handle portion, guard portion and a holding portion. The guard portion is positioned between the handle and the holding portion whereas the holding portion has a recess and a collar surrounding the recess. The collar is resiliently deformable to accommodate and hold the item within the recess.</p> |
