PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device interrupting an image signal transmitted to an exposed output means when a portable device is detached therefrom and allowing images to be appreciated by a display device other than the portable device. SOLUTION: This electronic device 100 allows the portable device 10 having a display part to be attached thereto and detached therefrom. This electronic device is equipped with: a first output means 150a outputting image signals to the portable device 10; a second output means 200 outputting image signals to a display device 204 other than the portable device 10; a detection means 208 for detecting the detachment of the portable device 10; and an image processing means 140 causing the outputting of the image signals from the output means 200 to continue while stopping the image signals from the output means 150a where the detachment of the portable device 10 is detected by the detection means 208.
