<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution system, a distribution server, a terminal, and a content distributing method by which content data can speedily and easily be reproduced without being limited to the downloading period of the content data. <P>SOLUTION: A receiving terminal which receives the content data from the distribution server through a network receives the content data and reproduction time limit information wherein a reproduction time limit limiting reproduction of the content data is recorded from the distribution server, and stores the content data and reproduction time limit information received by a reception unit. Provided are a control unit which reproduces the content data when the content data stored in a storage unit can be reproduced on the basis of the reproduction time limit information regardless of the period or the number of times of storage of the reproduction time limit information in the storage unit, and a time limit information request unit which sends a request to distribute the reproduction time limit information to the distribution server, and the reception unit receives the reproduction time limit information transmitted from the distribution server in response to the distribution request. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
