A mobile terminal and a relation management method for expressing the relation between a user and the other side are provided to set up the relation between call object persons stored in a phone book. A relation between call object persons is stored a phone book. One call object person in a phone book is selected(S13). An indirect relation between the user and the selected call object person is indicated by using the set up relation in a relation setup process(S15). The entire list of call objects is indicated according to a relation setup request. A setup object is selected in the list indicating process.
