PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in the case of a catch 3 for a pierced earring according to the conventional art, precious metals, such as gold or platinum, are spread thinly and a spring force is given by press or bending, however materials of the precious metals themselves are mostly soft, and there is a limit to a strong spring force such that the catch deforms with lapse of time, or deterioration with lapse of time occurs when the spring force itself is lost, and it easily falls off. SOLUTION: The catch for a pierced earring has a structure shown in Fig. 2 in which almost L-shaped arms 8 of a base board part 7 formed together with a pin insertion hole 6 and two L-shaped arms 8 almost point symmetrical to each other, are folded back and overlapped so as to be woven, and a pierced earring body is fixed by engaging a catch receiving part 11 of a pin 4 for the pierced earring by a pin engagement part 9 being a hole narrower than the pin for the pierced earring to be inserted. Thus, since the spring force in the vertical direction is used only when removing, durability of resiliency of the spring force is improved, and a pierced earring structure in which the earring does not easily fall off, is obtained.
