<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device that avoids a failure that an abnormal current continues to flow when switched on. <P>SOLUTION: A first switch circuit, which breaks an entire circuit, and a second switch circuit, which is connected in parallel to a current-limiting resistor, constitute a power supply device that protects an abnormal operation when switched on.
