PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation system of a building having a vent layer provided in an exterior wall body, which can reduce a burden on an air conditioner and power consumption. SOLUTION: This ventilation system is provided with an underfloor air supply opening 14 for taking underfloor air into a room, an outside air supply opening 12 for taking outside air into the room, and a vent-layer air supply opening 11 for taking air in the vent layer inside the exterior wall body into the room. In the ventilation system, temperature sensors 16 for measuring the temperatures of an underfloor section 13, the outside air 8 and the vent layer 9 in the exterior wall body are each provided. The ventilation system is also equipped with a control means 17 for selecting an optimum air introduction place from among the underfloor air supply opening 14, the outside air supply opening 12 and the vent-layer air supply opening 11, on the basis of information on the temperature which is detected by the temperature sensor 16 for detecting the temperature of each of the sections.
