摘要 <p>The voltage halving circuit consists of two series capacitors. The two capacitors are continually charged from the input voltage source while only one capacitor is discharged at any time to the output, the discharge being alternate. A first transistor (T1) is turned on by a timing pulse and discharges the first capacitor (CE1) into the output capacitor (CA). After a given time this transistor turns off and a second transistor (T2) is turned on by a second timing pulse. The second transistor discharges the second capacitor (CE2) into the output capacitor. The two timing pulses are derived from inductive circuits coupled to opposite plates of the output capacitor.</p>
