<p>PURPOSE:To connect the pipe joints at good performance, by connecting the backing plate, the push plate and the clamping plate with the positioning device, and by bringing two clamping plates into near. CONSTITUTION:The tip of the pipe (a) to be connected is inserted into the first pipe insertion part (c) of the pipe joint (b), and the ring type sleeve (g) is built in the second pipe insertion part (d) so as to make the tip (h) of the sleeve (g) to contact with the shoulder part (e) of the first and the second pipe insertion parts (c, d). The tool 50 is attached to this pipe connecting part. That is, the backing plate 7 and the push plate 10 are turned round and are set so as to bring the opening 8 of the backing plate 6 into contact with the outer surface of the shoulder part (e) of the pipe joint; then, the backing plate 7 and the push plate 10 are turned round to make contact with the backing plate 6 and the push plate 9, in order to form the perfect openings 8, 11; and hereby, the backing plate 6 and the push plate 9 are tight screwed into the screw 17. Next, the pressure is impressed on the piston cylinder 19 in order to drive the piston rod 20 for mutually aproaching the clamping plates 1 and 3. The tip (f) of the pipe joint (b) is drawn to deform by opening 11 of the push plate 9; the tail end (j) of the sleeve (g) is pressed by the tip (f) of the pipe joint (b); the tip (h) is guided by the shoulder part (e) in the direction of the pipe radius, and deforms the pipe's outer surface into a concave shape. Hereby, the fluid inside the pipe is tight sealed.</p> |
