<p>The device for keeping a bottle cool during a meal, and used instead of the conventional ice bucket, is a double walled container with the space between its walls filled with a commercially available refrigerating liquid. The inner wall is made of a material which is a good heat conductor, and the outer wall can be made of plastics material. The interior surface of the outer wall and the base are ribbed, and the outer wall can be chromium plated inside and out. The ribs are covered by a thin layer secured by adhesive for improved insulation and expansion. The design can be adapted to keep cool foods such as fruit, ice cream etc..</p> |
