<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of an auto cassette changer for a recording and reproducing device, such as a VTR, and to improve its reliability by exercising electric system control over a succession of operations for changing cassettes automatically. CONSTITUTION:An auto cassette changer 52 is fitted detachably on the main body 51a of a VTR51, and uses three motors. Those motors are capable of turning reverse. The 1st motor initializes the 1st mode (wherein a cassette is fallen and a holder is lowered), the 2nd mode (wherein an ejection button 54a and a rewind button 55a are pushed down), and the 3rd mode (a cassette is inserted or ejected). The 2nd motor performs the operations in the 1st-3rd modes, and the 3rd motor performs operation in the 4th mode (wherein a recording button 59a and a reproduction button 57a are pushed down). Those motors are controlled by a micro- computer on the basis of detection results of various detection switches.</p> |
