PURPOSE:To obtain a color image free of mixed colors in forming a 2-color image, by using a first screen photoreceptor and a second photoreceptor, forming positive and negative latent images on the second photoreceptor, and developing them with toners reverse in polairty. CONSTITUTION:A red and black original 2 is exposed to light on an original table 1, and the reflected light is passed through a first mirror 3, a second mirror 4, an in-mirror lens 5, and a red filter 6. A first screen photoreceptor 8 surface obtained by forming CdS on one side of a nickel mesh is exposed to the light image, and a positively charged black latent image is formed. Then, a negatively charged red latent image is formed on the photoreceptor 8 by passing the light through an in-mirror lens 5' as shown by a short dash line, and not passing it through the red filter 6 to expose the photoreceptor 8. The black and red latent images are transferred to a second photoreceptor 14, and a black and red 2-color image free from color mixing is formed with a negatively charged black VD developing device 16 and a positively charged red VR developing device 17. |
