<p>PURPOSE:To form a heat resistant and abrasion resistant layer which decreases the abrasion of the mating material as well on the sliding surface of a sliding member by mixing stamped high chronium cast iron powder having specific compsns. and atomized powder of a copper alloy at specific rates and plasma spraying the mixture. CONSTITUTION:60-90% stamped high chronium cast iron powder which contains 1-6wt% C and 20-35% Cr and further at least 1 kind among 0.5-6% Si and 0.5-3% Mo and of which the grain sizes are not coarser than 200 meshes and 10-40% copper alloy consisting of atmoized powder of which the grain sizes are not coarser than 250 meshes are melt-sprayed by atomization, whereby a sliding part formed with a heat resistant and abrasion resistant layer on the sliding surface is obtained. It is possible to improve the smoothness of the sliding surface by substituting part of the above-mentioned ground high chromium cast iron powder and the copper alloy powder with 10-35% self-fluxing alloy consisting of the atomized powder of which the grain sizes are not coarser than 250 meshes. Cu-Sn or Cu-Sn-Zn alloys contg. preferably 5-15% Sn and further 10- 30% Zn are usd for the above-mentioned copper alloy.</p> |
