PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the feed unevenness due to a transient change of speed at the stopping of secondary scanning and restarting, by adding a starting timing pulse generating circuit and then discontinuing the secondary scanning when the data bits are redued down to that of <=1 scanning line. CONSTITUTION:A storing circuit 1 stores picture elements equivalent to plural scanning lines to write and read successively the data bit groups. A phase signal generating part 2 produces a phase pulse signal with a prescribed cycle and prior to a data column. A storage quantity detecting circuit 3 is produced at the lower limit value equivalent to the sum of a prescribed number of scanning lines and ''1'', then generates a storage quantity display signal which disappears at the upper limit value equivalent to the difference between the total storage quantity and a prescribed number of scanning lines. A start timing pulse generator 4 counts and stores the time difference of generation between a phase pulse signal obtained after generation of the storage quantity display signal and a motor clock and then produces a start timing pulse after the storage quantity display signal is estinguished. |
