Motor vehicle door comprising an outer panel 1, an inner panel 2 made from plastic and a window frame 3 incorporated in the outer panel, in which door the said panels 1, 2 delimit a box structure 8 in which door accessories 10 such as the window winder are placed, characterised in that the base of the inner panel 2 is extended transversely towards the outer panel 1 by a closure plate 13 for the box structure 8 which blocks off the corresponding scallop 41 of the outer box structure 1.
