<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate discontinuity in picture quality by providing a means switching an output of a receiving section to the dynamic picture reproducing mode to a picture band compressing processor when the coding mode becomes the same degree as that before the generation of coding/decoding mismatching at the generation of coding/decoding mismatching between transmission and receiving. CONSTITUTION:When the mismatching is detected at the receiving side, a controller 28' selects a field memory 26 by a selector 33 so as to output the content of the field memory 26 directly from an output A as a still picture. Further, points y, A of a switch SW2 are connected and the storage content of a field memory 25 is outputted from the point (y). Further, when a request of regenerative coding is received at the transmission side, the connection of the points y, A of the switch SW1 is continued for a predetermined time, e.g., 5sec, and the regenerating coding is obtained to all screens of interfield during this time. When a signal of difference of a field signal subjected to regenerative coding comes at the receiving side, the selector 33 continues the state before the 5sec and a still picture is outputted from an output A. Thus, the discontinuity of the reproduced picture is eliminated in switching the mode to the dynamic output.</p> |
