PURPOSE:To rapidly dissolve zinc replenished, in the zinc dissolving tank of zinc electroplating equipment, by stirring the whole of zinc particles in the dissolving tank when the zinc particles are dissolved to separate gas bubbles adhered to the zinc particles. CONSTITUTION:In a high speed plating method using an insoluble anode, zinc replenished is dissolved in a zinc dissolving tank arranged apart from a plating tank with the consumption of zinc in the plating tank to be recirculated to the plating tank. In dissolving zinc particles in the zinc dissolving tank, the zinc particles in the dissolving tank are stirred so as to entirely rotate and move from the bottom layer part of said tank. By this stirring, hydrogen gas bubbles generated at the time of dissolution are separated from the zinc particles to rapidly dissolve the zinc particles. The predetermined concn. of zinc can be continuously kept. Further, by containing 50-500ppm of one or more kinds of Fe, Ni, Cr, Sb, Co or Mn in the zinc particles, a higher dissolving speed can be obtained.
