<p>PURPOSE:To remarkably simplify a field detection system by detecting rewinding field at the frame short mode while using a part of an existing pilot signal generator (ATF) so as to decrease the interval time. CONSTITUTION:A frame shot routing is called at the frame shot mode by a CPU and the recording of a video signal is started and the recorded field number i checked. When the recorded field number reaches 4-field, a capstan is driven reversely and the changeover switch 63 of a field detection circuit 60 is switched from the position N to the position F at the same time. Moreover, a reference signal P0 is fixed to a pilot signal P4 simultaneously. Then the CPU discriminates the presence or absence of a stop signal S4 and when the signal S4 is detected, the recording pause state is instructed. Then the capstan is driven forward and pilot signals P1-P4 used at the conventional recording/ reproduction are supplied as reference signals. Then, the switch 63 is switched from the position F to the position N at the same time and the frame shot processing mode is passed.</p> |
