PURPOSE:To enable use of a handy disposable gel even for a photo detection type DNA detector, by arranging an migratory separation section made of a disposable gel plate and a detecting section made up of a gel held with a quartz glass. CONSTITUTION:A separation bel 2 and a detection gel 3 gets tight at a BB' section to allowed a DNA fragment to flow to the detection gel 3 smoothly. A DNA sample 16 to be measured is labelled with fluorescence at one final end by chemical reaction or the like to form four kinds of sample groups respectively ended with an adenine base A, thymine base T, cytosine base C or guanine base G. These samples 16 are loaded on migration gels or different migration paths by the groups to be separated by migration. The shorter the fragment 13, the more quick the migration and the sample is separated after a fixed time of migration. For example, a pattern thus obtained is transferred onto a photography by autoradiography to read a band sequentially from the lower side, thereby determining a sequence. |
