发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF THERMOPLASTIC LAMINATE
摘要 PURPOSE: To produce material with large composite structure by mutually laminating and arranging the layers of a thermoplastic synthetic material applied to precuring treatment on a forming tool and exerting pressure to a vacuum bag and sealing the end part of a thin film on the forming tool and compressing a laminate at high temperature and high pressure in an autoclave. CONSTITUTION: Material 14 of a cured thermoplastic resin is stacked one after another on a plane forming tool 12. Breather material 16 of a peripheral layer is arranged around the layer 14 and dried fiber glass woven fabric 18 is arranged on the top face of the thermoplastic layer. A thin film 22 of high- temperature material is arranged on the peripheral breather material 16 and the dried fiber glass woven fabric 18. A plate weight 28 is arranged on the top surface of the thin film 22 to perform compression of the layer 14. The end part of the thin film 22 is sealed on the plane forming tool through a sealing material 24 by peripheral plates 30 and C-shaped clamps 32. A built-up body is sucked through a vacuum tube 26 and is comparatively gradually heated to about 740 deg.F in an autoclave. Pressure of the autoclave is increased to about 140 psig and the built-up body is retained at about 740 deg.F for 30 seconds and becomes a material free from a crack.
