PURPOSE:To suppress the shift of a printing image line to the min. degree without stopping a machine corresponding to the dimensional change of web paper due to humidity by providing at least a plate cylinder left and right fine adjustment means adjusting the left and right position of a plate cylinder to a blanket cylinder to each plate cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Web paper W extends by the effect of ink and damping water at the time of printing and generates an especially large dimensional change in its lateral direction. Herein, a plate cylinder left and right fine adjustment means 190 or 190' is operated to displace plate cylinders 112, 122, 132, 142, 152, 162, 172, 182 in the longitudinal direction thereof and the shift of a printing image line is made min. That is, a drive part 195 is operated in a desired direc tion to rotate the first gear 194 through the second gear 196. When the first gear 194 is rotated, the screw adjustment shaft 191 provided in the axis part thereof is displaced in the axial line direction thereof. This displacement is transmitted through a bearing 192 and an end shaft 112e and the plate cylinder 112 is displaced in its longitudinal direction. By this method, this adjustment operation becomes possible regardless of the rotation and stop of the plate cylinder 112. |
