PURPOSE:To suppress the influence of external light and to improve the contrast by observing an image formed on a reflection panel from the side of a liquid crystal projector device and arranging a 2nd polarizing plate adjacently to the liquid crystal projector device side of the reflection panel. CONSTITUTION:A system is constituted of a light source 3, a transmission type liquid crystal cell for modulating light from the light source 3, the liquid crystal projector device 1 which has 1st and 2nd polarizing plates 4 and 10 on the front and rear across the transmission type liquid crystal cell, and the reflection panel 7 where image light from the liquid crystal projector device 1 is projected. Then the image formed on the reflection panel 7 is observed from the side of the liquid crystal projector device 1 and the 2nd polarizing plate 10 is arranged adjacently to the side of the liquid crystal projector device 1 of the reflection panel 7. Consequently, the influence of external light is suppressed and the contrast is improved. |
