<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which has improved lubricity when used and therefore can prevent the wear of a ball holder and a ball at a tip by incorporating a specified substance into an ink composition containing an aqueous medium and a pigment. CONSTITUTION:0.05-10wt.% substance of the formula (wherein R is 7-33C alkyl) (e.g. N<epsilon>-lauroyl-L-lysine) is incorporated into an ink composition containing an aqueous medium comprising water and/or a water-soluble organic solvent, a pigment in an amount of 2-30wt.% based on the total composition, and if necessary, a rust preventive, an antiseptic, a dispersant, a surface active agent, a lubricant, etc., to give the title composition.</p> |
