<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the start processing for recognition of characters by outputting the image information based on the coordinate information on the handwritten characters inputted together with recognition of the character information and then outputting the character recognizing result based on the specific information on a period, etc. CONSTITUTION:An input coordinate storage means 21 stores the pen coordinate data received from an input part 12 of an input/output block 1 and an input pen 11. A handwritten character recognizing means 22 sends the character code data on the character recognizing result to a recognizing result means 23. A sentence input processing succession deciding means 24 sends a control code which erases the display of the holographs of input characters and the character string code data to a display control means 25 after deciding the end of input of a sentence based on a period, etc., of the character string data. The means 25 produces the display dot coordinate data on the holographs from the input coordinate data and sends the produced data to a liquid crystal display part 13. Furthermore the display of the holographs of the sentences so far inputted is erased with the control code received from the means 24 with input of a period, etc., of the Japanese words for example. Then the recognizing results of sentences are displayed.</p> |
