<p>In a method of applying a synthetic resin material foam backing to fabric, gas is introduced into a moving stream of synthetic resin foam ingredients by a spanging device, and the resultant gased mixture is mixed with a catalyst before being introduced into a mould in which the fabric is located. The spanger comprises a cylindrical housing containing a filter to which the gas is fed and past which the liquid flows. The mould is constructed and used substantially as described in Specification 1,087,944.</p> |
