<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can continue a printing job without interrupting it even when a recording paper sheet of a different size from a set size is fed in the printing job. <P>SOLUTION: When the size of the recording paper sheet does not agree with the size of printing conditions, the recording paper sheet being carried is discharged in a shortest period of time. Therefore, the poor carrying or the jamming of the recording paper becomes hard to occur, and the stoppage of the printing job caused by the poor carrying or the jamming can be prevented. Also, after the recording paper sheet in the middle of carrying is discharged in the shortest period of time, a printing completion signal is output to an image processing section 2 from a controlling section 6. Therefore, if there is a next printing job, the next printing job can immediately be received from the image processing section 2, and a plurality of printing jobs can continuously be processed without interruption, and the speedy printing process can continuously be maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
