PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small antenna for magnetic field communication having a broad directivity which is applied, for example, to transmission of audio data from the main body device of a portable music player to an earphone side, and communication equipment using the antenna, as regards an antenna and magnetic field communication equipment. SOLUTION: First and second leg parts 25B and 25C extending in the form of a bar are provided to both ends of a central portion 25A extending in the form of a bar, and a core 25 set so as to make the central part 25A and the first and second leg parts 25B and 25C orthogonally crossed to one another is used to form antennas 9A and 9B.
